Kinect, Microsoft's hands-free interface for the Xbox 360 console, has been confirmed as the fastest-selling electronics device in history said by Guiness World Records. The breaking record reports says that the Kinect sensor sold an average of 133,333 units per day in its first 60 days on sale from 4 November 2010 to 3 January 2011. These sales figures are significantly larger than other apple devices( iPhone and iPad )
in the same time-frame after launch.

The strong sales allowed Microsoft to deliver profits which were ahead of Wall Street's expectations in the of January 2011.
